The entire city is surrounded by nature and national parks, which extend from the harbour's shores, through the suburbs, and on to the Greater Blue Mountains, a world heritage site, at its far west perimeter.

Recommended Stay: At least 3 nights
Must See's:
Sydney Harbour, The Opera House, Sydney Tower Eye, Circular Quay, Bondi Beach, Taronga Zoo, The Rocks, Queen Victoria Building, Royal Botanic Gardens, Blue Mountains.

3 nights in Wellington

Surrounded by a natural amphitheatre of wooded hills, Wellington is the capital of New Zealand, the country's second largest urban area. Wellington features a variety of architectural styles ranging from 19th century wooden cottages, such as Katherine Mansfield Birthplace in Thorndon, some streamlined Art Deco structures such as the old Wellington Free Ambulance headquarters, to the curves and vibrant colours of post-modern architecture in the CBD. Both the National Library of New Zealand, located on Molesworth Street, and the Te Puni Kôkiri building on Lambton Quay are aesthetically unique. Wellington is home to Te Papa Tongarewa (the Museum of New Zealand), the Colonial Cottage, Old Saint Paul's, and the Law School (largest wooden building in the southern hemisphere) and the Wellington City Art Gallery.

Australia

The only country that has a whole continent to itself, Australia is a major tourist destination. World famous for its natural wonders and wide open spaces (beaches, deserts and "the Outback"), Australia is ironically one of the world's most highly urbanised countries and is well known for the cosmopolitan cities, such as Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra. Each state has its own national parks with their specific. If you're interested in the miracles of water-world, don't miss the Great Barrier Reef. The Wet Tropics of Queensland comprise dense rainforests and foaming waterfalls. Rare species of animals can be seen in the famous Kakadu National Park as well as ancient aboriginal art.

New Zealand

Located in the South Pacific Ocean, off the southeast coast of Australia, New Zealand is made up of two spectacular islands. The North Island is well known for its beaches, islands, volcanoes, geothermal areas, and Maori heritage, while the major cities of Auckland and Wellington, are also exciting hubs of culture, cuisine and nightlife. The South Island is famous for its dramatic landscapes, outdoor activities, and astounding wildlife. The majestic Southern Alps stretch almost the length of the island, sheltering glaciers, alpine lakes, and some of the world's best skiing.
