Trip Summary
3 nights in Rarotonga

Rarotonga is the most populous island in the Cook Islands and also one of the top tourist destinations. Cook Islands' Parliament buildings, as well as the international airport, are located on Rarotonga. The island is surrounded by a lagoon, which extends several hundred yards (meters) to the reef. The south-east part of the island is the most popular with tourists because it is suitable for swimming, snorkelling and boating. With its jagged peaks and deep valleys, fertile slopes and sparkling aquamarine lagoon, Rartonga comes pretty close to the archetype image of paradise.

3 nights in Aitutaki

Aitutaki, also traditionally known as Araura, is one of the Cook Islands, north of Rarotonga. Aitutaki is the second most visited island of the Cook Islands. The main village is Arutanga (Arutunga) on the west side. Aitutaki is famous for its turquoise central lagoon, uninhabited islands and palm-fringed beaches. Another advantage is that until now it has been spared by mass tourism. Noteworthy also are an old church (the oldest in the Cook Islands) and some gigantic Banyan trees. Is ideal for honeymoon, relax, adventures, sports and family.

Cook Islands

The Cook Islands is an Polynesian archipelago consisting of 15 islands located in the South Pacific Ocean. With the same time zone and latitude as Hawaii, the islands are sometimes thought of as "Hawaii down under,"but without all the large tourist hotels. The Cook Islands' have a vigorous culture with significant differences between each island. Each island has its unique qualities. Despite some 70,000 visitors a year to the capital island, Rarotonga, the Cooks are largely unspoiled by tourism. They offer a rare opportunity for those living in big cities to experience a different type of vacation.
