Indonesia

The Republic of Indonesia is the world's largest archipelagic state comprising 17,508 islands. The heart of the archipelago is Java the location of Jakarta, Indonesia's capital and largest city, and also home to a very big part of the population. Indonesia is the world's fourth most populous country after China, India and the United States and also the largest Muslim state. Despite its large population, Indonesia has vast areas of wilderness that support the world's second highest level of biodiversity. Be sure to visit at least Bali and if you have some more time, try to make it to Sumatra, with its impressive natural beauty.

Malaysia

Located in the heart of South-East Asia, Malaysia is one of the so-called Asian Dragons, of rapidly-growing economies. Peninsular Malaysia is the most popular among visitors. The West Coast is more developed, while the East Coast boasts a rustic charm. Visit Melaka and Penang, they both are rich in culture and history. If you are the adventurous type, your destination should be Sarawak or Sabah with their spectacular wildlife, the awe-inspiring Mulu caves and Mount Kinabalu, the highest peak in Malaysia. Food is another attraction in Malaysia. The melting pot of cultures makes Malaysia a gastronomy heaven.

Singapore

Singapore is a small, diamond-shaped island country in Southeast Asia. With humble origins as a fishing village, Singapore has transformed itself into a dynamic, cutting edge city while still maintaining its historical and cultural charm. Singapore, having just celebrated 50 years of independence, is a young, vibrant country that has become a global economic powerhouse and top destination for Americans traveling to Asia. Singapore's exotic landscapes contrast beautifully with stunning new sky-scrapers, ethnically diverse neighborhoods, a harmonious blend of cultures, verdant greenery throughout the island and a mouth-watering food scene that leaves nothing to be desired.
