Mae Hong Son is a peaceful spot, with many natural attractions. It provides great opportunities for adventures in the mountainous forested region, passing through villages with Burmese style temples. You will also encounter beautiful waterfalls that fill small pools which are a perfect treat at the end of long treks through the forests. The region is also well known for its multitude of caves: more than 67 caves were discovered in the province, many still containing prehistoric relics. There are also several temples, well worth visiting.
