Day 1 in Abu Dhabi

Welcome to Abu Dhabi! Upon arrival at the airport, you will go through customs and immigration. Should you opt to purchase a transfer to your hotel; a representative will be waiting for you as you exit immigration. Arrive at your hotel, check in and do not give in to jet lag! There is so much for you to see and do!

We suggest you get acquainted with the city, take a walk around the popular waterfront promenade at the Corniche Breakwaters, this 5 mile stretch of land consists of walking and cycling paths, play areas, beaches, restaurants, and shops. Wander along the waterfront neighborhood and grab a bite to eat at one of the outdoor cafes. Take a bike ride out to Marina Island which is part of the Corniche where the UAE flagpole sits and the Heritage Village, wander around and even check out Marina Mall with plenty of shops and attractions.

Alternatively take the Hop-on Hop-off Big Bus Tour of the capital city onboard a double-decker bus where you can hop off and visit some of the major landmarks in the city including the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Emirates Palace and much more.

On your first evening in the capital city head to the magnificent Emirates Palace, this luxurious 7-star hotel is one of the best places to catch a sunset providing stunning views over the beach and waters of the Persian Gulf. Grab a drink at one of the bars, relax and watch the sunset then make your way to one of the 14 restaurants on site for dinner (reservations are recommended). Stroll around the beautiful pristine grounds of the Palace that cover 250 acres boasting beautiful gardens and fountains. Retire back to your hotel for the evening.

Day 2 in Abu Dhabi

Start your day with a visit to the impressive Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque (closed on Fridays to non-Muslims until after 2 pm). The mosque is the most important architectural landmark and a key worship site in the country, the largest Mosque in the UAE and the 6th largest in the world. This mesmerizing white marble mosaic features exquisite architecture and has the ability to hold 40,000 worshippers with 82 domes on the exterior an over 1,000 columns. Explore inside where you can see the largest hand-woven carpet in the world and the 24-carat gold chandeliers.

Make your way to Yas Island for an adventure filled afternoon, Yas is a man-made island that sits about 12.5 miles away from the city center. This Island includes fun and entertainment for the whole family. Check out one of the many restaurants on the island for some delicious Arabic cuisine, shop at the largest mall in the city, head to the water park or the golf course and even relax on the beach.

Visit the first Ferrari branded theme park `Ferrari World` located on Yas Island, where you can ride `Formula Rossa` the fastest roller coaster in the world, check out other rides and simulators along with live shows and Ferraris on display.

Also head to the Yas Marina Circuit, designed by Hermann Tilke and the location for Abu Dhabi`s Grand Prix. Here visitors can get behind the wheel of a race car and test out the track which features 21 corners that weave through the island, skimming off the coast and through the sand dunes!

Make your way down to the Marina on Yas Island where you can enjoy a waterfront dining experience at one of the seven restaurants situated in the area and enjoy the sunset. Stroll around and marvel at the magnificent yachts and boats that are docked at the marina and stop in at one of the rooftops or poolside bars for a cocktail under the stars.

Day 3 in Abu Dhabi

Head to the Etihad Modern Art Gallery located in the heart of the city, one of the most dynamic galleries in the city showcasing international and regional artwork along with workshops and art classes. Enjoy breakfast at the Art House Café on site.

After breakfast, make your way over to Corniche Beach for the afternoon. This beautiful beach area stretches for just over a mile and features soft white sand and the sparkling turquoise waters of the Persian Gulf. Relax with a book and sunbathe on the beach with a view over Lulu Island, cool off in the refreshing waters and visit one of the waterfront restaurants and cafes for some snacks and refreshments.

Head over to Marina Island to the Marina Eye Ferris Wheel, take a spin on the giant 196ft tall wheel in one of the 42 viewing capsules that provide some magnificent panoramic views over the entire city and the surrounding waters and maybe catch a sunset.

As evening approaches, make your way to the Observation Deck at 300 situated on the 74th floor of the Jumeirah Etihad Towers Hotel for some more breathtaking views. The observation deck is said to be the highest vantage point in the city at 984ft high. Seeing the city lit up and sparkling at night is simply spectacular, enjoy a delicious dinner at one of the fine dining restaurants on site (reservations required) and then a nightcap at one of the bars to wrap up your last evening.

Additional Days in Abu Dhabi

If you are able to spend additional days in Abu Dhabi be sure to check out the Arabian Desert where you can take camel rides, go sandboarding and partake in other adventures out on the sand then enjoy a campsite traditional Arabian dinner where belly dancers perform to traditional music.

Your Last Day in Abu Dhabi

Depart from your hotel to the airport for your return flight home. We recommend that you purchase a private transfer to the airport if so the representative will meet you at your hotel with plenty of time to get you to the airport for your flight out.
