Bet She`arim is a national park in the Lower Galilee region of northern Israel. Bet She`arim is known for the remains of a Roman city located on a hilltop and the ancient Jewish burial catacombs located within it. Today the Beit She`arim National Park incorporates both the ruins of the city and the burial tombs. The story of the town encapsulates the story of Jewish settlement of the time, the story of its people, their actions, and their great faith.
