Delhi
Delhi is divided in two, New Delhi (the national capital) and Old Delhi, the ancient metropolitan city sits on the banks of the Yamuna River. A city of contrasts featuring architecture that ranges from the 10th-century Hindu-Rajputana to the 17th century Mughal and 20th-century British influences. Old Delhi is dominated by the grand bazaar of Chandni Chowk set inside the ancient walls of the sprawling Red Fort.
