Port Angeles, Washington is the northern gateway to Olympic National Park, the place where you can experience three different ecosystems in just one day. Port Angeles is situated on the shores of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, which connects Puget Sound with the Pacific. The modest downtown is centered around Front, First, and Lincoln Streets. Across The Lagoon from the downtown area, there is a headland where there is a reservation for native birds, called Ediz Hook.
