Lake Erie


Lake Erie is the southernmost of the five Great Lakes. It is connected to the other Great Lakes by the Detroit River and the Niagara River, respectively. Lake Erie`s coastline is divided up between the U.S. states of Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York and the Canadian province of Ontario. Canada`s southernmost point, Point Pelée National Park, is situated on Lake Erie, and large cities such as Cleveland and Buffalo are located on the opposite shore.
