The relaxed Southwestern city of Las Cruces features a vibrant art scene and rich agriculture. Historically known as the place where Billy the Kid was put on trial. The city in the summer is filled with sunny days and starry nights. The downtown area is brimming with activity such as vibrant galleries, wine bars, cafes, and restaurants serving up delicious food. The city of Las Cruces in the state of New Mexico actually means ‘The Crosses’ in Spanish. Whether or not this was meant to refer to actual crosses is unknown and now the city is more likely to be referred to as ‘The Crossroads’ due to its strategic position at a crossroads between two highways.
