There is an abundance of city parks include Prime Ministers Park, Pehonan Parkway and the beautiful 1,500 lakes that make up Prince Albert National Park and during the winter months, the city comes alive with fun-filled activities for the entire family! Cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and winter hiking. Don't forget to attend the farmers' market. The province of Saskatchewan is also well known for aurora borealis spotting, so when visiting this region, you might just get lucky with viewing the majestic northern lights.
