Sequoia and Kings Canyon`s long list of superlatives includes Mount Whitney, the highest point in the contiguous United States at 14,494 feet, and the Kings River Canyon, one of the deepest canyons in North America. This dramatic landscape testifies to nature`s size, beauty, and diversity—huge mountains, rugged foothills, deep canyons, vast caverns, and the world`s largest trees. When you arrive, you`ll travel steep highways from the hot, sunny foothills up into cool forests and sequoia groves.
Rocks formations, green forest, clear crystal waters with breathtaking landscapes as well as cosmopolitan cities full of entertainment are offered in this Self-Drive Package. At the California "Golden State" spend glorious days in San Francisco, visiting (The Golden Gate, Alcatraz, or a sightseeing tour on cable car across its main avenues). Then drive up, and combine these three fantastic natural protected areas for excursions, walking trails, or amazing photos, like; Yosemite National Park (rock mountains, waterfalls and forest); Sequoia National Park and Joshua Tree National Park (unique shapes presented by their trees). Finally, stay in Los Angeles (a city full of themed attractions located around the city). Entrance to national parks is not included. Plan your visit according to your schedule and be sure to check each park's operating hours. This is a flexible vacation package.
