Sioux Falls sits on the eastern border of South Dakota, once a sleepy Midwestern town the city is now a bustling metropolis filled with excellent dining, shopping, and big attractions. Falls Park is the natural wonder that gives the city its name boasting scenic viewing areas, an observation tower, and impressive cascading waterfalls. The downtown area is brimming with shopping opportunities and endless delicious famed dining options. Sioux Falls boasts hiking trails, history, exciting entertainment, and some of the best festivals around including one of the largest outdoor music festivals in the country, LifeLight Festival.
Enjoy an authentic journey through the senses, passing by Nebraska and South Dakota States, until you reach one of the most visited places in US: Mt. Rushmore. Start with a nice stay in Omaha (city in Nebraska, known for its pioneer history, museums and cultural centers. After that, pick up your car and head to South Dakota, combining these three cities and surrounding areas, ideal for excursions, walking trails, or amazing photos, like Sioux Falls (located in southeast South Dakota, with diverse outdoor adventure, its vibrant arts and music scene); Black Hills Natl. Forest (one of the most road-built national forests in the country, short miles from the Mt. Rushmore; with rugged rock formations, canyons, grasslands, streams, lakes and unique caves), and Rapid City (knows as the "City of Presidents" because of the life-size bronze president statues located downtown, at the Back Hills and main base for travel on the Mount Rushmore National Memorial).
