Spokane is Washington`s second-largest city, located in the extreme eastern part of the state along Interstate 90, just 20 miles from the border with Idaho. The Spokane River and two large waterfalls (Upper and Lower Spokane Falls) divide the city in two. Downtown is located on the southern banks, as is the city`s oldest neighborhood, Browne`s Addition, home to the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture and the Campbell House, among other historic buildings and museums.
