Start your vacation in Podgorica (the capital city of Montenegro, with a centuries-old Clock Tower, built by the Turks, that dominates the old town). Next, visit Kotor. Your transfer between cities will include a stop at Lovecen and optional stop at Cetinje. After your days exploring, you will transfer Dubrovnik with an optional stop at Perast and Cavtat. And lastly, but not least, visit Split (an exuberant, buzzing city with a perfect balance of history and modern sensibilities). This is a flexible vacation package. It sits on the Bay of Kotor, and is home to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Medieval-era Old Town, fortified since the time of Roman emperor Justinian; and the fortifications themselves, which were upgraded during the time of the Venetians (who called the city Cattaro). Kotor Cathedral, one of the oldest buildings in town, is one of only two Catholic cathedrals in the country.

Montenegro is well-known for its beautiful beaches. Montenegro boasts over 180 miles of coastline and over 120 distinct beaches. The historic towns, many of which have beautifully-preserved Old Towns, are charming and captivating all at once. While the country is very rural in parts, much of the area is federally protected in national parks. There are great opportunities for outdoor recreation here; Montenegro is one of the best places in Europe for a hiking vacation. These parks are great places to experience the amazing panoramic views that Montenegro is well-known for.
