From there with a Rental Car drive along The Peloponnense Region (with its many famous archaeological sites, seaside places, gorgeous beaches, castles and ski centers), visiting: Olympia (the ancient Greek Sanctuary site dedicated to the worship of Zeus) and after that, Delphi (ancient religious Sanctuary dedicated to the Greek God Apollo. It is home to the world-famous Oracle of Delphi). Continue this trip driving to Kalambaka (a region full of impressive, massive rock formations and with one of the most important religious complexes in Greece: Meteora with its byzantine monasteries perched on top of steep rocks).   • Olympia

    Olympia, the town that was home to the first Olympic Games and was in use for over a thousand years. Here, the fittest and strongest ancient Greek competed against one another to demonstrate their physical prowess and to pay tribute to their gods. The first Olympiad was held in 776BC and every four years following that where the ancient Greeks gathered to watch or compete in these athletic competitions.

  • Delphi

    Delphi is a UNESCO world heritage site and one of the most famous sanctuaries of antiquity. It was home to the oracle that was consulted before any important political decisions at the time. Here you will see the ruins of the temple of Apollo that was worshipped onsite, the sanctuary of Athena Pronaia, the theatre, the stadium and the archaeological museum.

  • Kalambaka (The Meteora)

That's exactly what happened centuries ago in the Meteora, and today you can visit the monasteries that are still inhabited by 60 monks and nuns. Originally there were 24 monasteries, where today only six remain.
