After that, visit Lima (the Peru's capital city steeped in history; is enveloped by beautiful colonial vestiges bestowed upon the city by the Spanish). Continue in Chile, discovering: Santiago (capital and cosmopolitan city able to preserve its traditions, located close to vineyards, wineries, ski resorts and beach towns) and Torres del Paine (known for its soaring mountains, bright blue icebergs that cleave from glaciers and golden pampas (grasslands) that shelter rare wildlife such as llama-like guanacos).
