Welcome to the heart of South America!. Discover Paraguay; a bilingual and multicultural country, full of natural wonders, historical charm and welcoming people. Start at the capital city, Asuncion (bordered by the Paraguay River, with abundant greenery throughout its streets and gardens, successfully combines the beauty of its colonial-style buildings with its modern infrastructure); after that, travel to Ciudad del Este (known for its intensely busy commercial life, with shops and malls and where its main attraction for visitors is shopping. This most eastern and second largest city of Paraguay is one of the access points to a great natural wonder of the world, the Iguazu Falls, a few miles away in the neighboring cities of Foz do Iguacu-Brazil and Puerto Iguazu-Argentina). Continue this trip in Encarnacion (located at the south of the capital city, on the bank of Parana River. It is distinguished for its carnival and waterfront boulevard as well as for its beaches; and for its preserved Jesuit Ruins, declared as World Heritage Sites). Lastly, get back to Asuncion, to finish enjoying what the city has to offer. These destinations are connected by transfers. This is a flexible vacation package. Trip Summary

  • Asuncion

Asuncion, capital city of Paraguay, presents a fascinating cultural richness fruit of the mixture of its native inhabitants - the Guaranis with Africans and Europeans - also reflected in the eclectic architecture boasting colonial roots and contemporary features as well as in its music. Founded by the Spanish Juan de Salazar in 1537, it is known as the Mother of Cities, because the first expeditions departed from here to found other cities of the continent. Positioned in the heart of South America, Asuncion is a convenient hub from and to other main points of the region, and it's prepared for holding international congresses, conventions and events, with first-rate infrastructure. The nightlife presents a variety of interesting options such as pubs, bars, discos, restaurants, cafes, cinemas and theaters, for the enjoyment of tourists, added to the warmth and hospitality of its people. You will also enjoy a gastronomy with countless exquisite flavors expressed in a diversity of dishes and delicious desserts, including typical food, made with fresh and natural products. Visit mysterious Asunción and discover the many wonders of this atypical destination for your unforgettable holiday! Explore the Palacio de Lopez, Independence House Museum, Botanical Garden and Zoo of Asunción, Asuncion Waterfront, National Pantheon of Heroes, Museum of Sacred Art, Manzana de la Rivera, National Museum of Fine Arts, and so much more!

  • Ciudad del Este

Ciudad del Este is strategically set opposite the Brazilian city of Foz de Iguazu, joined to it by the Friendship Bridge, and in front of the city of Puerto Iguazu in Argentina, for which the area is called the ``Triple Frontier``. This a metropolis of intense economic activity, and it is the third largest free trade zone in the world, after Miami (United States) and Hong Kong (China), where you can find products from renowned brands of electronics, computers, perfumery and even probably the best wine cellar in South America, with the best wines from all continents, mainly from incredible French vintages. Near Ciudad del Este is a major tourist site; the massive Itaipu Dam, ``the stone that sings`` in the Guarani language, located on the Parana River and only 6 miles from the center you can admire the Saltos del Monday, with three mighty waterfalls 130 feet high each. Also nearby are the world famous Falls of Iguazu, regional hotspot that welcomes about 4 million visitors per year!! Explore the Monday Falls, Triple Frontier, Itaipu Dam, De la Republica Lake, Itaipu Zoo, Mbaracaju Nature Reserve, Moises Bertoni Museum, Paris Shopping Mall, Iguazu Falls, Sign and so much more!

  • Encarnacion

Encarnacion, known as ``The Southern Pearl`` - ``La Perla del Sur``, has a privileged position on the banks of the Paraná River. It is well known for its famous Carnival, and its coastal avenue. The Encarnación sambadrome (492.126 yards) is the fourth in the world, after Rio de Janeiro (601.487 yards) and Sao Paulo (579.615 yards) and Gualeguaychu (546.807 yards). The city features an important growth in its hotel infrastructure and meeting rooms, with the opening of first-class hotels and meeting rooms for between 20 and 600 delegates. Encarnación also has excellent restaurants, and a varied nightlife between walks along its waterfront shared with the neighbouring Argentine province of Posadas, pubs and casinos. Among its main cultural and tourist attractions are the popular beaches and just an hour away are the immaculately preserved Jesuit Mission of the Holy Trinity, declared World Heritage by UNESCO, testimonies of the well-known Jesuit experience in Paraguay. And while these ancient wonders are entirely worthwhile, there are a number of exciting other attractions on offer to keep travelers amused as well. Explore the Costanera Avenue, Eco Water Park and El Dorado, Estacion del Ferrocarril Rail Museum, Sambodromo Vista Sur, San Jose Beach, Staircase Barrio San Pedro, Virgen of Itacua Sancturay, Jesuit Mission Ruins, and so much more!
