Day 1 : Arrival in Lima and Transportation to your Hotel

Welcome to Peru! Lima is one of the most important and modern cities in South America founded by the Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro in 1535. Upon your flight arrival in Lima, you will go through Immigration and Baggage Claim. Please make your way to exit #2, where you will find our representative identified with a Condor Travel nametag and uniform. Our representative will have a sign with your name and last name so that you can easily locate him.
You will receive a welcome package with itinerary details, transportation times and emergency contact numbers. A vehicle and driver will take you to your selected hotel.

Day 2 : Lima

This is your second day in Lima, and last chance to enjoy its exquisite, gourmet restaurants, historic landmarks and museums.
You will visit the modern and colonial parts of Lima, known as The City of Kings, starting at the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro, and passing along a “huaca” or sacred pre-Inca site, before heading to the Historic Center. There, you will walk along some of the most historically important streets of the city, leading to the Plaza de Armas, where you will have some time to take pictures of the amazing colonial architecture that surrounds it. You will also have the chance to take a peek into an iconic building, that has served Lima’s citizens for centuries and continues to be an important landmark. Then you will visit the impressive Convent of Santo Domingo, an astonishing building with colonial style. After exploring the Historical Center, you will head towards the Larco Museum, which houses the incomparable Treasures of Ancient Peru private collection.

Day 3 : Cuzco
Meals Included: Breakfast at your hotel.
Today you will depart from , Lima for Cuzco. Please note MUST arrive Cuzco no later than 10.30 am. Hotel pick up time will be provided in your welcome package and confirmed by our local representatives the night before. After your private airport transfer, a short 1-hour flight takes you to the Cuzco Airport, from where you will be taken to your hotel in Cuzco.
Cuzco Is approximately 3,400 meters (about 11,500 feet) above sea level and travelers need to inform themselves about altitude and acute mountain sickness (AMS), which may be prevented and treated under the advice of a doctor BEFORE travels begin.
The rest of the morning is free to rest and get acclimated to the altitude.
In the afternoon, you will visit the city of Cusco, known as the Imperial City and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Here you will start your tour at the iconic San Pedro market, a local market where you can explore the colors, flavors and traditions of modern Cusco. The visit continues with the Koricancha Temple, an ancient Inca palace and cult center of the Sun God. You will continue ascending to the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, an impressive example of Inca military architecture. Afterwards, you will explore Q’enqo archeological site, where important Inca ceremonies took place. Finally, you will arrive to the Plaza de Armas (main square), where you will visit the Cathedral, the most important temple in the city. Please note: From January to March, San Pedro market will be replaced by the 4 surrounding ruins

Day 4 : Cuzco to Sacred Valley

In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel in Cuzco and driven towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas. You will visit Chinchero, a small and picturesque town that houses an important Inca archaeological center built at the end of the 15th century, as well as a beautiful and traditional church.
Then you will visit the home of a local family where you can appreciate how they have preserved the traditional Andean spinning and weaving techniques and where they will also show you how they get the bright colors for their looms naturally. Then, on the way to Ollantaytambo, you will stop at the Racchi viewpoint, where you will have some of the best views of the Sacred Valley. Afterwards, lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
Continue to Ollantaytambo, one of the most representative architectural complexes of the ancient Inca Empire and one of the few places where the Spanish conquerors lost an important battle. Well known for its platforms, Ollantaytambo was a very effective fortress that also served as a temple. Finally, continue to the town of Ollantaytambo, known as "the only living Inca city"; It is the best existing example of Inca urban planning, with stone streets that have been inhabited since the 12th century. From January to March, Chincheros will be replaced by Pisac market and Pisac ruins.

Day 5 : Depart from Sacred Valley For Machu Picchu
Meals Included : Breakfast at your hotel and Lunch after Machu Picchu tour.
You will wake up very early in the morning for the transfer from your Sacred Valley hotel to the Ollanta Train Station where you will board the Expedition Train and enjoy a 2-hour journey passing through lush, green fields and colorful villages in the foothills of the Andes. Final train destination is Aguas Calientes, the little town with an elevation of 6,700 ft., located at the bottom of MachuPicchu Mountain.
Your tour guide will walk with you to the bus stop (next door to the train station). Then a 20 minute bus ride takes you to the top of the mountain, where you will find the entrance to the marvelous citadel, an awe-inspiring sight, MachuPicchu. It will be an unforgettable experience, where a professional tour guide will transmit you the history around this mysterious and charming place.
PLEASE NOTE: The maximum period to stay in Machu Picchu citadel is no longer than 4 hrs. Once you leave, it is forbidden to re-enter the citadel, even if you are within the 4 hours stipulated.
After the tour, descend to Aguas Calientes and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Your ride back to Cuzco will consist on the return train ride to Ollanta onboard the Expedition, and a ground transfer from Ollanta train station to your hotel in Cuzco. Overnight in Cuzco.

Day 6 : Flight Back Home
At the scheduled time, you will be transferred to the airport in Cuzco to take your flight back home. Meals Included: Breakfast at Cuzco Hotel.
