This Self-Drive, independent vacation package will introduce you to beautiful cities across Montana and Idaho and allow you to visit two popular national forests: Lewis and Clark National Forest from Great Falls or Helena and Nez-Perce Clearwater National Forest from Missoula. Explore the cities of Great Falls (known as the Electric City it straddles the Missouri River); Helena (with crystal-clear views of some of the most beautiful sections of the Rocky Mountains); and Missoula (known for its blue-ribbon trout fishing, outdoor recreational opportunities and spectacular natural beauty). Lastly, end in the popular Coeur d` Alene (attractions such as Silverwood Theme Park, lake cruises and a downtown market with art and antiques draw visitors). Entrance to national parks is not included. Plan your visit according to your schedule and be sure to check each park's operating hours. This is a flexible vacation package. The Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art shows contemporary work in a landmark Romanesque Revival building. On the Missouri River, the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail Interpretive Center has exhibits on the explorers’ route through the adjacent Giant Springs State Park.
