Sojourner Truth gave her impactful `Ain`t I a Woman?` speech here in 1851. Akron is nicknamed `The Rubber City` as it is the headquarters of Goodyear Tire, and the founder`s Tudor Revival estate, the Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens, is open to the public as a museum. Akron is a gateway city to the gorgeous Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
