Akron is nicknamed `The Rubber City` as it is the headquarters of Goodyear Tire, and the founder`s Tudor Revival estate, the Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens, is open to the public as a museum. It is also home to such sights as the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the First Ladies National Historic Site.
