Day 1 in Nadi

Welcome to Nadi! Upon arrival at the airport, you will go through customs and immigration. Should you opt to purchase a transfer to your hotel; a representative will be waiting for you as you exit immigration. Arrive at your hotel, check in and do not give in to jet lag! There is so much for you to see and do!

Begin with a leisurely stroll around Nadi Town exploring the shops and scenery. You will find some dining options here where you can sit back relax, enjoy lunch and some refreshments!

Visit the Nadi Produce Market and the Nadi Handicraft Market for some fresh local produce and handmade souvenirs to take home with you, both provide the opportunity to see local Fijians at work.

After lunch make your way to the Sri Subramaniya Temple, the largest Hindu temple located in the Southern Hemisphere. The vibrantly colored temple is dedicated to the deity Murugan and features a hand-carved statue along with several others that are displayed and divided into three halls. The temple sits on the banks of the Nadi River in a serene setting and is one of the most spectacular sights in the city.

On your first evening in Nadi head over to Denarau Island on the west coast about 6 miles from Nadi town. A small private island and the home to eight private resorts, breathtaking beaches and Port Denarau where you will find a wide variety of dining options with waterfront seating, providing spectacular views over the water for a Fijian sunset. Enjoy a nice meal and relaxing evening by the water.

Day 2 in Nadi

Start your day off early with a full day excursion out to the Mamanuca Islands, this volcanic archipelago consist of a chain of 20 islands situated off the coast of Denarau. Head out from Denarau Port on a boat, seaplane or helicopter for your tropical getaway. These breathtaking islands offer idyllic palm-lined beaches with the bluest of blue waters filled with stunning coral reefs and vibrant fish. Simply relax on the beach and sunbathe or take a dip in the Southern Pacific where you can also enjoy spectacular snorkeling and diving. Most day tours to the island include a beachfront lunch and water sports activities.

After a day on the beach make your way back to Denarau for a night of dining and drinks on the water at one of the many waterfront restaurants.

Day 3 in Nadi

Start today with a visit to the Navala Village, this picturesque traditional Fijian village is situated deep in the Ba Highlands. A 200-year-old mountain village with the original thatched buildings and preserved traditional architecture. The village sits on the banks of the river with the mountains in the background. Here visitors will receive a traditional kava welcome ceremony, take a tour of the village and meet the locals, visit the markets and sample some local cuisine and even take a dip in the river.

Make your way to the Nadi Gardens of the Sleeping Giant, nestled at the foothills of the Nausori Highlands around 4 miles north of Nadi. These beautifully landscaped gardens include the largest collection of orchids in Fiji and cover 50 acres of land. Stroll through the walking paths that take you through the gardens and lush rainforests over canopy covered wooden boardwalks with sparkling lily ponds and small fountains.

After a morning out in the countryside, head to Sabeto Hot Springs and Mud Baths in the Sabeto Mountains. Here you can experience a natural outdoor spa setting with mud pits and geothermal natural hot pools. The water in the pools contain sulfur which provides healing properties, take a soak in the mud and cover your body with the mud, then allow it to dry in the sun, then relax in the hot pools and let nature do its work. Scrubbing with the mud is a good exfoliate the skin and provides anti-aging benefits. Relax and enjoy the stunning mountain settings that surround the area.

On your last evening make your way down to Wailoaloa Beach in the heart of Nadi Bay, Travellers Beach Resort and Club Fiji are both located here on the beach where you can enjoy a drink and a meal while enjoying the sunset and get the use of the resorts facilities.

Additional Days in Nadi

If you have additional days to spend in Nadi continue exploring the wonderful un-inhabited islands off the coast including Tivua Island and South Sea Island which are both parts of the Mamanuca Islands and are surrounded by 500 acres of vibrant coral reefs. Day cruises depart from Port Denarau for both islands and include pick up and drop off from your hotel. Boat cruises to the island include snorkeling tours, glass-bottomed boat tours and kava ceremonies along with food and entertainment.

Your Last Day in Nadi

Depart from your hotel to the airport for your return flight home. We recommend that you purchase a private transfer to the airport if so the representative will meet you at your hotel with plenty of time to get you to the airport for your flight out.
