Day 1 in Nha Trang

Welcome to Nha Trang! Upon arrival at the airport, you will go through customs and immigration. Should you opt to purchase a transfer to your hotel; a representative will be waiting for you as you exit immigration. Arrive at your hotel, check in and do not give in to jet lag! There is so much for you to see and do!

We recommend you get acquainted with the beachside paradise Nha Trang. Take a walk around the quaint city center dotted with cafes, shops, and markets. Sit down for a bite to eat and take in the authentic surroundings and the local way of life.

Nha Trang Beach is within walking distance from the heart of the city, stroll along the waterfront promenade lined with beachfront boutiques and spectacular seafood restaurants. Do some shopping for some local handmade souvenirs and artwork. You can take a bike ride around the city and along the beachfront to see the beautiful beachfront scenery.

Visit the Yersin Museum situate along the beachfront, this museum is dedicated to the late Alexandre Yersin, a French bacteriologist who introduced rubber and quinine-producing trees to Vietnam and discovered the rat-borne microbe that caused the bubonic plague. The small museum is located in Yersin`s home and features some of his personal belongings and laboratory equipment.

As evening time approaches, enjoy the sunset at one of the many beachfront restaurants and bars found along the coast of Nha Trang. After the sun sets dine on some of the delicious seafood that Nha Trang is famous for, you can hand pick your choice of seafood and have it cooked to your liking. Explore the happening places of Nha Trang at night where bars line the beach and the streets in the city center and come alive at night.

Day 2 in Nha Trang

Rise and shine early today and capture a breathtaking sunrise from the sparkling coastline. Stroll along the soft white sands, take a dip in the sparkling turquoise waters and awaken for a great day ahead.

Grab some famous Vietnamese coffee which has a distinct taste. Many cafes and coffee shops are dotted around town where you can grab a hot cup of Joe. Enjoy some breakfast at one of the cafes and fuel up for a day of exploring.

Visit the historic Po Nagar Cham Towers located on Mount Cu Lao, this 8th-century temple was named after a Hindu Champa princess. A cultural-historical relic set on the banks of the Cai River, the complex dates back to 781 AD, the towers are built from giant red square bricks with pyramid shaped roofs and stand on a granite knoll. The complex is still an active place of worship today for the Buddhist people, Po Nagar Kalan is the tallest tower here standing at 82 feet tall. Marvel at the stunning architecture and soak in this sacred place.

Next stop at the Thap Ba Hot Springs Center, enjoy a rejuvenating soak in a hot thermal mud bath and a relaxing dip in the mineral springs. Visit the waterfalls nearby and enjoy the lush green surroundings of the mountains and peaceful setting. Visitors can enjoy many treatments at the center including massages, a sauna and more. There is a restaurant on site to grab a bite to eat and let the mud and mineral springs do their work and ease away your aches and pains.

Head over to the Long Son Pagoda where the magnificent 79ft tall sitting white Buddha is located. The 19th-century pagoda is set in the foothills of the Tray Thui Mountains and features typical Taoist style architecture with peaked roofs and ornately decorated mosaic dragons constructed from glass and tile. The pagoda is a working monastery and school for monks, see the breathtaking giant sitting white Buddha that dominates the area.

See the elegant Nha Trang Cathedral, the largest church in the city. The magnificent stone Catholic Church features provincial French Gothic Style architecture and vibrantly stained glass windows with a large square clock tower. It was constructed during the 19th century. Daily mass is held at 5:00 am, 7:00 am, 9:30 am, 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm on Sundays and 4:45 am and 5:00 pm the rest of the week.

As evening time approaches capture another wonderful sunset on the beautiful beaches of Nha Trang.

You can enjoy dinner at one of the waterfront restaurants by the beach or make your way to Thap Ba Street which is famed for seafood and street food. Alternatively, you can take a sunset dinner cruise and spend an evening on the waters with drinks and a gourmet dinner under the stars.

Day 3 in Nha Trang

Begin your day with a bountiful breakfast at one of the cafes and restaurants lining Tran Phu Street in the city. Then it is time to hit the markets! Nha Trang has many popular street markets including the Nha Trang Market and the Dam Market where you can shop for anything and everything. These vibrant bustling markets are the best place to find that one of a kind gift or souvenir to take home. Pick up some supplies for a picnic later on with fresh produce and other delicious local food.

Now it`s time to hit the beaches! Nha Trang is considered the `Riviera of the South China Sea` the breathtaking coastline of the city spans for 4 miles decorated with some of the most amazing beaches in the world. Take your pick, Bai Dai or `Long Beach` is a more remote location with luxurious resorts, beachfront hotels, golf courses and restaurants. Tran Phu Beach is within walking distance of the city center, making it a popular location for visitors and locals. There are shops, restaurants and more that line the iconic Tran Phu Street. Whichever beach you choose you will be rewarded with tranquil turquoise waters, golden soft sand, swimming, snorkeling and other activities that provide you with the best beach escape.

On your last evening, check out the popular Louisiane Brew House, situated right on the sand with seats right on the beach, making it the perfect location to enjoy your last sunset, cocktail and delicious seafood. Relax and enjoy your last evening in a great atmosphere with live music, stay in your beach attire there is also a pool here where you can take a refreshing dip after the sun goes down.

Additional Days in Nha Trang

Should you be able to spend additional days in Nha Trang be sure to visit the beautiful Ba Ho Waterfalls, a set of three waterfalls with swimming pools that are reached by a hike through the rice paddies and rainforest.

Check out The National Oceanographic Museum of Vietnam featuring a large collection of marine life including rare species.

The Hon Khoi Salt Fields are a unique destination where visitors can witness the locals hard at work harvesting the natural salt in the shallow field by Doc Let Beach. The area generates around 737,000 tons of salt a year.

Visit the amazing Vinpearl Amusement Park set on its own island! Take the world`s longest cable car over to the island which is packed with entertainment. There is a water park, amusement park, aquarium, shopping and the food hub.

Your Last Day in Nha Trang

Depart from your hotel to the airport for your return flight home. We recommend that you purchase a private transfer to the airport if so the representative will meet you at your hotel with plenty of time to get you to the airport for your flight out.
