Flores

The vibrant picturesque town of Flores sits on a small island on Lake Peten Itza, in the middle of the Maya Biosphere Reserve, in Guatemala. Flores is the gateway to the ancient Mayan city of Tikal with its impressive pyramids nestled in the jungle. Peten Itza Lakeside

Lake Peten Itza is a beautiful lake situated in the northern Peten Department in Guatemala, it is the second largest lake in the country measuring 20 miles in length and 3 miles wide. The Peta Itzan lakeside region is a popular place for visitors to stay giving them easy access to the ancient Mayan city of Tikal.
