An exciting journey through the fantastic Sahara Desert in Morocco!. Start in Marrakech (with its walled Medina and the worldwide open market: "Jemaa el-Fnaa"); and after that, visit Morocco’s gate to the Sahara Desert, Zagora (a great base from which to explore the surrounding palm groves and Kasbahs); and finally, Casablanca ( with the inspiring Hassan II Mosque and its Old Medina that stand out). Private transfers will take you between these destinations and throughout the Moroccan Sahara Desert area; that will allow you to explore the following stops: Ouarzazate (a starting point for excursions into and across the Draa Valley and the desert) and Ait Benhaddou (a historic ighrem or ksar -fortified village- along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech). This is a flexible vacation package. Select your number of nights in each city, desired hotel and activities.

Marrakech
Marrakech has a long and storied history tied to the tragedies and triumphs of the sultans and kings of Morocco. Along with Fez, Meknes and Rabat, Marrakech was one of the four 'imperial capitals of Morocco.' The heart of the fortified Old City is an area called The Medina, filled with historical buildings and great shopping opportunities at the myriad souqs. The Medina, along with Menara Gardens and Agdal Gardens, have all been named UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The thriving center of town is the Jemaa el-Fna, which explodes with activity and color after nightfall. Marrakech is also a jumping-off point for tourists to explore the beautiful Atlas Mountains.
Explore and enjoy The Medina, Agdal Gardens, Menara Gardens, Koutoubia Mosque, La Palmeraie, Gueliz, Jemaa el-Fna, Jardin Majorelle, Palais de la Bahia, and so much more. -
Zagora
Zagora is an ancient Moroccan frontier city, dating from at least the eleventh century, if not even further back. The Berbers called this area 'Tazagort', the twin peaks, referencing Mount Zagora overlooking the city and the Almohad hillside fortress on the mountain. The Saadi dynasty's expedition to Timbuktu started here, and today you can see a sign that says 'Timbuktu - 52 Days', as that is how long it takes to make the trip by camel. Within an hour of town, Saharan sand dunes and camel rides are the order of the day at Erg Chigaga.
Be sure to visit Tizgui Waterfall, Zagora Desert, Caravane Mille Etoiles, Zagora City Gates, Timbuktu 52 Days mural, Ksar Igharghar, Ksar Timidart, Erg Chigaga, Mount Zagora, Bivouac La Dune Blanche, and so much more! -
Casablanca
Casablanca is the largest city in Morocco and the country's commercial and social epicenter. The Romans founded a settlement called 'Anfa,' and within a short time it quickly became one of the most noteworthy ports in North Africa. The French influence on Casablanca is undeniable and is on display in the tree-lined avenues south of the Old Medina. The Old Medina and La Corniche, two compact areas full of adventure and surprises, are popular tourist attractions.
Visit Hassan II Mosque, Place des Nations Unies, Arab League Park, La Corniche, Plage Ain Diab, Morocco Mall, Bouskoura Forest, Mohammedia, Rick's Café, The Old Medina, and so much more.
