The Galapagos Islands are located roughly 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador, a dream destination for natural beauty and wildlife. The archipelago of around 19 islands and many smaller islets sprinkled 620 miles of the coast of Ecuador in the Pacific Ocean is a double World Heritage site and served as an inspiration for Charles Darwin’s Theory of Evolution. A dream destination with friendly wildlife such as playful sea lions, and gigantic sea tortoises, as well as awe-inspiring sights like lava flows, blowholes, spatter cones, lava tunnels, beaches, and the most diverse species of vegetation.
