Start in Cairo (famous for its own history, preserved in the fabulous medieval Islamic city and Coptic sites in Old Cairo); and after that, travel to the Red Sea Area, to enjoy: El Quseir (the oldest port on the Red Sea, and famous tourist destination located in the east of Egypt, with an unique position due to its proximity to the Nile River); and then, Hurghada (a beach resort town stretching some 25 miles along Egypt`s Red Sea Coast). Continue to Aswan (the ancient city in the south of Egypt, known for its beautiful Nile River Valley scenery, significant archaeological sites and its peaceful aura); and lastly is Luxor (famous for its ancient Egyptian monuments such as: The Luxor and Karnak Temples, The Valley of the Kings and Queens).     El Quesir (spellings vary) is a fishing town 62.1 miles north of Marsa Alam on the Red Sea Coast of eastern Egypt. Today the city of around 18,000 people is surrounded by coral reefed beaches, and hotels. This is probably the early stages of this coast becoming another Sharm. It still retains its charm with the locals, and the hotels are impeccable. Spend your day relaxing on the beach or choose from a variety of activities offered by the city. Here, the underwater life is very attractive and diverse, with visibility on a calm day about 20 m. The diving and snorkelling is excellent. Relaxation comes in many forms in this beautiful city.
