The central portion of Route 66, the USA`s `Mother Road`, takes travelers through the states of Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona, and covers 1,074 miles of the 2,448-mile journey. You will be able to explore small towns (even a ghost town or two!), some of the most beautiful and solitary stretches of the drive, national parks like the Grand Canyon and the Petrified Forest, and big cities such as Amarillo, Albuquerque, and Flagstaff.
