THE BEST TIME TO VISIT COSTA RICA

The weather in Costa Rica boasts consistent temperatures all year round, making any time a perfect time to visit the beautiful country. It’s a tropical paradise with warm weather and average temperatures that range from 60-95 degrees at the highest. The country features two main seasons; the dry season also known as “verano” is from December to April throughout most of the country. The rainy season also known as “invierno” or “green” season lasts from May to November in most of the country, and is also considered to be the low season for cheaper prices and less favorable weather. July and August are known as “veranillo”, or “little summer”, when there is less rain and stronger trade winds.

Costa Rica is a tropical country, so visitors should be prepared for rain at any time of the year, but heavier rainfall occurs in September and October. The rainfall is what makes the country so lush, verdant, and beautiful. Costa Rica offers stunning tropical beaches, wildlife-filled cloud rainforests, and rising mountains that attract tourists from all over the world. The Pura Vida “pure life” spirit fills every inch of this magical scenic country, and the locals take pride in preserving it.
