The main form of public transportation in Broome are buses. The Town Bus offers regularly scheduled buses that connect Cable Beach to downtown and Chinatown. Tickets cost around A$4 and services run 7 days a week every 30 minutes during peak season and every hour during offseason.

Broome Explorer Bus is an easy and cheap option to travel around Broome with services 7 days a week and bus stops located near all major accommodations with stops at Town Beach, Chinatown, Boulevard Shops, and Cable Beach.

Renting a car when visiting Broome is a great idea and gives you the freedom and flexibility to explore the surrounding Kimberly region at your own pace.
