December - February (Winter)

Winter (December to February) in Tunisia is mild along the coast, but temperatures can drop in the interior and southern regions. The temperatures during the day rarely rise above 60°F. At night temperatures rarely reach up to the mid-40’s F. It often rains, so walking can be difficult. But at the same time, all of Tunisia is filled with greenery, also in January sometimes wildflowers and even almonds begin to bloom. February is already more like a spring month than a winter month, with more and more sunny days. If you prefer milder weather and fewer crowds, winter can be a good time to visit. However, some tourist services may operate on a reduced schedule during this time.
