Bistrita Vacation Packages
Bistrita, in northern Romania, was founded by the Saxons in the twelfth century. Remnants of the early days of Bistrita can be found throughout the city, perhaps most notably at the 13th-century Minorite Monastery. Bistrita's synagogue, one of the largest in Transylvania, is the center of a Jewish community that once numbered in the tens of thousands. The Evangelical Church's bell tower offers great views of the city below.
