Fuengirola is a major tourist resort on the Costa del Sol, home to a medieval Moorish fortress. One of Fuengirola`s main attractions is, of course, it`s wonderful five miles of sandy beaches, stretching from the Sohail Castle to the west and Torreblanca to the east. The most impressive sights are the Roman vestiges: the thermal baths in Torreblanca and the Roman columns in Los Boliches. Fuengirola caters to different tastes, offering entertainment for all ages from a ride on the tourist train or horse and carriage around the town to a visit to the local zoo. Take a walk on its seafront walks, one of the longest along the coast.
