Villa Town Gate is located in the very center of the old Hvar town, a few steps away from the old `Town Gate` and just 1 minute walking distance from the town square. The 15th century city walls enclosing the old part of the town have 4 gates and this is the Main gate (Porta maestra) because it leads from the square to the aristocratic part of the city and towards the fortress. Once any guests pass the gate, the Villa is the first on the right and it is situated on a tiny street visited during the history by artists and poets searching for their inspiration.
