This establishment is located in the heart of Shrewsbury, within a converted old church, and is home to a licensed cafe, mezze-bar and grill and nine luxury boutique hotel rooms. There has been a church on this spot since the 12th century. The original building was knocked down and the Presbytarian Chapel of St Nicholas was built and opened in December 1870. This remained until the mid 1970’s when the congregation relocated to new premises. Since then, the building has been used as offices, a gym, a cafe bar and spa and most recently, a luxury hotel. Many of the original architectural features remain, including the stunning archways, carved pillars and stained glass windows.
