Paris

Paris is regarded as one of the most dynamic cities in Europe, and for good reason. The city assaults the senses, demanding to be seen, heard, touched, tasted, and smelled. Orleans

Only an hour away from Paris, Orleans is the capital of the Loire Valley and is famous for two reasons - Joan of Arc and the many Chateaux in the region. An important settlement by the time of the Roman conquest, the city sealed its place in history in 1429 when Joan of Arc relieved the city from attacks by the Burgundians and the English, a key turning point in the Hundred Years War. Six centuries later, the Maid of Orléans still has a powerful hold on the French imagination!

Blois

The city is famous for its chateau, which is like an illustrated storybook of French architecture. Château d'Amboise is a15th-century château, a combination of Gothic and Renaissance styles, often associated with Charles VIII. Other important sights are the Hotel de Ville dating from around 1500, the Tour de l'Horloge and the Church of St. Denis.
