Paris
Paris is regarded as one of the most dynamic cities in Europe, and for good reason. The city assaults the senses, demanding to be seen, heard, touched, tasted, and smelled. Gaze at impressive monuments and savor its gourmet cheeses, chocolates, wines, and seafood. Paris is relatively small as capitals go, with many of its major sights and museums within walking distance of each other. A world of discovery awaits in every hidden corner and at all the famous sites, there is so much to explore.
Visit the Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame Cathedral, Jardin des Tuileries, Latin Quarter, Avenue des Champs Elysees, Musee d'Orsay, Place de la Concorde, Sacre Coeur, and so much more! -
Rouen
The capital of Normandy, Rouen is one of the country's most ancient cities, with 2,000 years of history. Laid out by the Duke of Normandy in 911, this city on the Seine is rich in historic associations, from William the Conqueror, who died here in 1087, to Joan of Arc, who was burned at the stake on place du Vieux-Marché in 1431. Nowadays, Rouen is a bustling, vibrant city, alive with activity generated by the industries connected to the port and the students at nearby universities and art schools.
Admire the Cathédrale Notre-Dame, Musée des Beaux-Arts, Abbatiale Saint-Ouen, Aître Saint-Maclou, Palais de Justice and Monument Juif, Tour du Gros-Horloge (Big Clock Tower), Eglise Saint-Maclou, and so much more! -
Chartres
Chartres, located close to the famed royal chateaux of the Loire Valley, and on the left bank of the Eure River, offers a diversity of sites to see and things to do. The city is famous for its Gothic Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of the finest and best preserved of its kind in Europe.
Admire Chartres Cathedral, Maison Picassiette, Museum of Fine Arts in Chartres, Conservatoire de l'Agriculture Le Compa, Eglise Saint Aignan, Banks of the Eure Park, Eglise Saint Pierre Chartres, Chapelle Saint Piat, and much more. -
Tours
Situated at the confluence of the Loire and Cher rivers, Tours is an excellent base for visiting the region's magnificent châteaux. The original home of the French language and the 'art de vivre', Tours has a modern, lively center with a thriving university. Experience the city's charm by visiting the old quarter, the cathedral, Saint-Gatien, whose flamboyant Gothic facade is flanked by towers with 12th-century bases and Renaissance tops, as well as the Touraine Wine Museum, the fine-arts museum, and Plessis les Tours.
