Get back to Germany and visit: Heidelberg (a city with a dreamy, romantic setting around the Old Bridge and the castle, nestled between the Neckar River and the foothills of the Odenwald forest) and after that, Rothenburg ob der Tauber (well known for its well-preserved medieval old town, a destination for tourists from around the world). Continue to Nuremberg (famous for its historical landmarks like the imperial castle and the walled Old Town) and finally, drive back to Munich for one last stay, before returning home. Heidelberg
This town is especially famous for its oldest German University of Heidelberg (1386). As students always made up the majority of population, it escapes from the war air raids and managed to preserve the ancient buildings from Middle Ages and Renaissance. Rothenburg ob der tauber
