Its fertile landscape spans mountain villages, ancient ruins and long stretches of beach). Finally, take a flight to visit Heraklion (is Crete's Island capital city, an area with many tourist resorts, as well as important well-preserved buildings and elements of traditional architecture and stunning beaches).
