Start in Belfast (capital and largest city in Northern Ireland, full of stunning Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian architecture and best known for being where the RMS Titanic was built); after that, visit The Antrim Coast (from Ballycastle to Larne contain some of the most beautiful and varied scenery in Northern Ireland. The area is dominated by a high undulating plateau cut by deep glens which open north and eastwards to the sea). The historic village of Bushmills is just inland from the coast and is home to the UK`s oldest whiskey distillery. Continue, driving along the rugged coast, enjoying one of the world`s most iconic road trips, and where to marvel at the beauty of the UNESCO World Heritage Giant`s Causeway (made up of some 40,000 massive black basalt columns sticking out of the sea. The dramatic sight has inspired legends of giants striding over the sea to Scotland). Finally, spend a nice stay in Derry (northernmost city that keeps its walls around the city completely intact). Trip Summary

  • Belfast
    Belfast

Dating back to the Middle Ages, the second-largest city on the Irish Isle, Belfast has a rich history. Some visitors may already know that one of the most iconic oceangoing liners, the Titanic, was built here in the world-famous Belfast Shipyard. The city is nestled beside the River Lagan and Belfast Lough, providing a lovely and privileged setting. Take a stroll and admire the mix of Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian architecture, dominated by the magnificently domed City Hall.

Visit Belfast City Hall, Grand Opera House, Ulster Museum, Botanic Gardens, Titanic Belfast, St. George's Market, Belfast Castle, Parliament Buildings, and much more.

  • Antrim Coast
    Antrim Coast

The Antrim Coast is one of the most amazing shorelines in the UK, and one of the world's least spoiled coastlines. The rugged edge of County Antrim features remote glens, imposing cliffs, tiny fishing villages, pristine beaches, and colorful history; it sets the scene for epic adventures. Fans of the blockbuster series Game of Thrones are sure to recognize some of the scenery as well, as parts of the popular show were filmed here!

Visit the Clotworthy House, Shane's Castle, Glenariff, Cushendall, Cushendun, Torr, Larne, Ballygally, and much more.

  • Giants Causeway Coast
    Giants Causeway Coast

The Giant's Causeway Coast lies at the foot of mighty basalt cliffs along the sea coast on the edge of the Antrim plateau in Northern Ireland. The spectacular area is an important global geological phenomenon, comprised of some 40,000 large, regularly shaped polygonal columns of basalt in perfect horizontal sections, forming a pavement. It is protected by UNESCO not only for its beauty but also because its cliffs, seashores, marshes, and grasslands are home to more than 50 species of birds, as well as more than 200 species of plants. Visit Dunluce Castle, Old Bushmills Distillery, Bushmills Railway, Dunseverick Castle, National Trust Carrick-a-Rede, and so much more!

  • Derry (Londonderry)
    Derry (Londonderry)

The old 6th-century walled city of Derry (sometimes alternately referred to as Londonderry), is a centre of culture and creativity. The walls dating from the 17th century are still complete and measure 1 mile in circumference and stand six meters thick. There are several interesting museums like the Tower Museum which tells the history of the city from prehistoric times until modern day. From here you can easily day trip to the Giants Causeway, a volcanic formation of thousands of hexagonal rocks, situated about an hour away.

Visit the Museum of Free Derry, Tower Museum, Peace Bridge, Derry Walls, Bloody Sunday Obelisk, and much more.
