Trip Summary

  • Cardiff

Cardiff is the capital of Wales. It is also its most populous city and the epicenter of political, economical, social, and cultural life in Wales. With over 20 million visitors arriving each year, it is easily Wales`s most-visited tourist destination. In the early 19th century, the small town of Cardiff experienced a meteoric rise as one of the principal ports in the British Empire, and the area around the port is now a noteworthy tourist area which is home to such buildings as the Welsh National Assembly, the Pierhead Building, and the Millennium Centre. Other noteworthy sights include the BBC Drama Centre in the city center, where such TV shows as the dramas Casualty and the Welsh-language Pobol y Cwm are recorded; and the city`s two grand cathedrals: Cardiff Cathedral (Roman Catholic) and Llandaff Cathedral (Anglican), the latter dating from the 12th century. Cardiff Castle was built on the site of a 3rd-century Roman fort; the castle we see today also dates from the 12th century. Visit Cardiff Castle, Cardiff Bay, St Fagans National Museum of History, National Museum Cardiff, Caerphilly Castle, Wales Millennium Centre, Mermaid Quay, Llandaff Cathedral, Cardiff Cathedral, Pierhead Building, and so much more!

  • Glasgow

Scotland`s jewel on the River Clyde, Glasgow is an architectural dream: Victorian red and honey sandstone, Italianate steeples and medieval spires sit harmoniously with neo-Gothic towers, the sensuous Art Nouveau of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and the titanium, glass and steel of the contemporary city. Glasgow has an amazing portfolio of museums and galleries, many of them free! Visit The Lighthouse, Willow Tea Rooms, Merchant City, The Style Mile, Glasgow Science Centre, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, Glasgow Botanic Gardens, and so much more!

  • Edinburgh

Edinburgh has an almost fairy-tale setting and every step is a revelation. Its magnificent architecture shifts from the proud tenements of its medieval Old Town, to the grace and geometric precision of the Georgian New Town. Above it all stands Edinburgh Castle perched high on its volcanic rock looking down on a city where medieval lanes and elegant, sweeping terraces hold over ten centuries of history, mystery, and tradition.

Enjoy the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, Calton Hill, Palace of Holyroodhouse, Princes Street Gardens, St Giles' Cathedral, Scott Monument and so much more!

  • London

London offers everything! Iconic landmarks, centuries of history, world-class shopping and achingly cool fashion, arts and food scenes. A 40-minute walk along the South Bank will take you past Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, Tate Modern, Shakespeare's Globe, St Paul's Cathedral and Tower Bridge. There are eight Royal Parks to explore, and over 300 museums and galleries. It is home to 60 Michelin starred restaurants and fantastic street food. The evenings offer from high-end nightclubs of Chelsea and Mayfair to cool clubs in Soho and Camden. As for theatre, London's legendary West End boasts over 40 world-class theatres.

Visit Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, the London Eye, Trafalgar Square, Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, the British Museum, Piccadilly Circus and so much more!
