WHAT TO EXPECT

1: Amalfi

Once we have put on our life jackets and adjusted the footrests on our kayaks we will be ready to set off to the west towards the Runghetiello Grotto.

For those who have never been in a kayak there will be a short introductory lesson on how to kayak and safety at sea.

The route will take us along Amalfis finest beaches as well as close to natural rock arches and into sea caves, giving us the opportunity to admire the old watch towers that dot the entire length of this coast.

We will pause at beaches reachable only by sea and have time to go snorkeling or swimming in crystal-clear waters.

Not too far from the starting point, once passed Duoglio and Santa Croce beaches, we will kayak by the "Arc of Lovers", a natural rock arch created millions of years ago by the erosion of the sea whose shape recalls two elephants in the act of kissing. Up to not too long ago young couples used to get married on the top of it.

2: Conca dei Marini

A little later we will paddle in front of the ancient fishermen village of Conca dei Marini, passing near the villa of Sophia Loren and seeing the historic hotel Il Saraceno located on La Vite Beach.

From here we will also have a stunning view of the Santa Rosa Monastery, a former convent now converted into a luxury hotel, once home of the Dominican nuns.
It's right in the kitchens of this monastery that the delicious "Sfogliatella Santa Rosa" was born, a shell-shaped pastry filled with ricotta cheese-based cream and little dried fruit pieces, typical of the local culinary tradition (don't forget to taste it before leaving!).

Once past the seaside of Conca dei Marini we will enter its western basin, where we will finally find and visit the Runghetiello Grotto, a picturesque natural sea cave named after a local fish, brightly frescoed in red and green by the minerals on its walls.

The return trip to Amalfi will give us a different but equally remarkable view of both sea and land.

Our experience will take place aboard a beautiful sailboat (47ft) off the Amalfi coast on the fabled Mare Azzurro, where we will be exploring many beautiful beaches and places, such as Cetara, Maiori, Minori, Atrani, Amalfi, Praiano, Furore. Feel the warm sun on your face and the wind in your hair. You can go for a swim or just enjoy all the beauty that will be surrounding you on board! We will share a lot of fantastic and exclusive spots reachable only by boat and we'll also have time to taste an Italian aperitif.
Optional: at the end of the trip we could bring our guests to one of the exclusive beach restaurants reachable only by boat, where you can eat delicious seafood and local wine.
We can help with your transportation pickup and drop off along the coast, if you'll book early I could organize the meeting point in Salerno. Please note Salerno train station is very easy to reach and our base is 15 minutes walking distance from it.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The meeting place is located a few steps from the main beach (La Praia), the NaturArte artistic route and the very famous Praiano watchtower. Once they arrive home, our guests will sit down to drink a glass of wine made by us and taste a small homemade aperitif, after breaking the ice they will get to work. They will prepare the starter, two types of pasta and sauce (depending on the preparation) and the dessert, using products from our garden or from our fishing moments, following our family's recipes. They will sit at the table enjoying all their work and finishing with the dessert and the handcrafted digestive or digestives. They will leave us with the awareness of having lived a unique experience and having enriched their culinary experience. 1: Amalfi

Start your adventure directly from Amalfis main port no hot, crowded bus transfers to other towns or ports.
Once everyone is on board and briefed about the day ahead, we will be set to sail west toward Capri Island. The route will guide us along the Amalfi Coast, exploring Capri's pristine beaches, natural rock arches, and enchanting sea caves. Along the way, we'll appreciate the old watchtowers dotting the entire coast. Our journey will include stops at secluded beaches accessible only by sea, offering time for snorkeling or swimming in crystal-clear waters and exploring grottoes. Near the start, just after leaving the center of Amalfi, we will reach the "Arc of Lovers," a natural rock arch where couples once exchanged vows.

2: Conca dei Marini

Cruising by the ancient fishermen village of Conca dei Marini, we will glimpse Sophia Loren's villa and the historic "Il Saraceno" hotel on La Vite Beach. The stunning Santa Rosa Monastery, now a luxury hotel, showcases the birthplace of the delectable "Sfogliatella Santa Rosa." After Conca dei Marini's seaside, we will enter its western basin, offering breathtaking views of Furore and Praiano villages, Li Galli and Capri islands, and the iconic Faraglioni Rocks. From here, we will set sail for Capri, disembarking for a three-hour on-foot exploration and lunch (not included). The route to the island will offer a breathtaking view of Positano and the Sorrento Peninsula. Upon reboarding, we will commence the exploration of Capri's seafront, focusing on its South-East side, home to key attractions. Our first sights will include Villa Jovis, the splendid residence of Roman Emperor Tiberius, and the iconic Faraglioni Rocks, the guardians of Capri. Exploring a complex of interconnected sea caves, such as the White Grotto (Grotta Bianca) and the Green Grotto (Grotta Verde), we will revel in crystal-clear waters: ideal for another round of swimming or snorkeling. 2: Spiaggia Bagni di Tiberio

Not far from the beach of Marina Grande on Capri is a small coastline embraced by the cliffs and kissed by the sun that over time has earned the name Bagni di Tiberio. 16: Tiberius' Leap
