Bari
Situated on the Adriatic Sea, Bari is the capital of Puglia (Apulia) and the second largest city in southern Italy. This area has been largely overlooked by tourists, however, it has grown as both a cultural and historical destination, as well as a place for beach lovers and those hoping to have a more authentic Italian experience. The old town (Bari Vecchia) is charming as is the lungomare (beachside promenade) where you can take a stroll and admire the stunning coastline, beaches, and port.
Visit and explore the Old Town (Bari Vecchia) & the Murat (Centro Storico), Basilica di San Nicola, Cathedral of San Sabino, Castelo Normanno-Svevo, The Lungomare Nazario Sauro (promenade), Piazza Mercantile, Provincial Art Gallery, Via Sparano, Lido San Francesco, and so much more. -
Lecce
Also known as the 'Florence of the South', Lecce is situated in the middle of the Salento Peninsula. Lecce's long history predates Roman times, but it's well preserved Roman Amphitheater is one of its finest attractions.
