Universal Hotel

Livorno is an Italian port city on the west coast of Tuscany. It`s known for its seafood, Renaissance-era fortifications and modern harbor with a cruise ship port. The Universal Hote is at a 13 minute car drive from Livorno city center. Pisa`s Galileo Galilei International Airport is at a 30 minute car drive. Located on the Scali Aurelio Staffi, the Mercato Centrale enormous building stands out amidst the surrounding structures and packed within is a plethora of market stalls. Its central Terrazza Mascagni, a waterside promenade with checkerboard paving, is the city`s main gathering place. The area surrounding the Fortezza Nuova is lovingly known as Nuova Venezia (New Venice), and this is due to the numerous canals that line the streets. Via Grande runs from the roundabout next to the port, through to the impressive Piazza della Repubblica.
