Start in Venice (sumptuous palaces and romantic waterways), after that, trains rides will take you to Florence (home to many masterpieces of Renaissance Art and architecture) and Rome (famous for the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Vatican, and delicious food). From here, catch your Rental Car drive southern to Sorrento (overlooking the Bay of Naples, with stunning vistas, famous for its Limoncello liquor and good base for visiting the ancient sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum), before drive to Naples to drop off the car and take your flight returning home.
