Unique non-circular trip. We meet in Budva, and after 1 hour ride... The journey begins near the castle of Zeta's ancient kingdom, overlooking the expanses of Lake Skadar. A calm river, surrounded by sobbing trees, accompanies us to the lake floods and channels that connect several bays. Amazing views, and changing scenery in a theatre, will leave you breathless. Curly-necked pelicans, grey-backed and small herons, black cormorants, and ducks, as well as many other bird species, nest on Skadar Lake. Until the middle of May, this path runs through crystal-clear water. Later the weather gets warmer and the route changes water lilies and other aquatic plants bloom.
This route is long and therefore you need to be persistent. But it worth it! There is a stop along the way where you can get off and stretch your legs as well as have a hot drink. At the end of the journey, we will visit a local restaurant where we can pre-order Montenegrin dishes for you and Transfer to Budva waits for us

We will start the tour with a walk to the popular city viewpoint at the Ballerina monument in the direction of Mogren beach. Passing through the Land Gate, you will see the Poets square, unusual entrance ways that will take you directly to the sea. We will continue to see the biggest city square, famous of its churches that are standing beside each other. You will find the Roman Catholic Cathedral dedicated to Saint John and the Orthodox Church of 'Saint Trinity' from 1804. Together we drive to the take-off point on a hill at 770 meters above sea level, offering a stunning view of Sveti Stefan, Miloer, Beii, Budva and Sveti Nikola Island.

Before every flight there is a mandatory briefing. In a relaxed atmosphere, the pilot explains the takeoff, flight and landing procedures. Safety is our priority, so all equipment is carefully checked before takeoff.

You will start the flight together with your instructor and takeoff is simple just a few steps.Most passengers relax right after takeoff and enjoy the breathtaking view. You will sit comfortably while the pilot helps capture the best moments with a camera.

I am hosting a 2 hours experience on the sea, island and beautiful beaches. During this 2 hours I take you to the most beautiful places in Budva municipality.
While travelling to these places via boat you will have chance to enjoy sightseeing the city of Budva, coastline, nature and old town.

We will make a stop on the island which is 20 minutes travelling from Budva and there you will be provided with snorkeling equipment to help you see better the underwater life.
You will be able to do some snorkeling or simply relax and have nice swim while we are on the island.

Later on we continue to another beach where you can take a swim again. While travelling I will tell you some historical background of the place and provide you with some drinks if you are up for it.

1: Budva

Budva is one of Montenegros most popular coastal towns, known for its beautiful beaches, historic Old Town, and vibrant atmosphere. During the visit, travelers will have free time to explore the Old Town (Stari Grad), walk along the seaside promenade, enjoy the views of the Adriatic Sea, take photos, or relax at a café by the coast.

2: Lovcen National Park

National Park Lovcen is located in rocky region of Dinara Alps. Slopes of Mountain Lovcen steeply, rise from coastal region of Budva and west part of Cetinje. Park is bordered on South with highway Budva Cetinje and on North with old Kotor road. Black Mountain, after which Montenegro got its name, rises to 1749 meters of altitude. Park is 6220 acres large. Office of the Park is at Cetinje.

History of flora and fauna plays important role in National Park Lovcen who with nine different habitats at a very small space. So large number of habitats is result in large diversity of flora and fauna. There are 2000 plants in the Park. This abundance of life is result of extreme altitudes and under influence of two climate zones: Mediterranean and Continental. Their combination at such small space is cause of creation of unique habitat.

3: Cetinje

Situated in the fields of Cetinje, at the base of the Lovcen mountain, Cetinje is a treasure of Montenegrin cultural and historical heritage. It scent with the architecture from 18th and 19th century that comes from rich greenery of this small city. Cetinje is the capital of Montenegro and Crnogorsko primorska Mitropolija. During King Nikolas reign many embassies were built that give it todays specific looks. Two of the most representative buildings are the Monasteries of Cetinje and Biljarda.
In the evening, on the promenade along the beach you will be overwhelmed by the loud music that comes from the cafes, the laughter and screams of children from nearby amusement parks, the scent of the sea mixed with the aroma of delicious barbeque, and beams of light from the disco that stroll through the sky. Budva is a big light show.

WHAT TO EXPECT

1: Petrovac

In total duration of this tour, it is included time spent in the transportation. From our meeting point, we arrive in Petrovac where we start our tour. In the 3rd century AD, the Romans built their summer villas on this lovely bay, so nowadays the mosaic floors of those villas can be seen in this beautiful little town. A calm walk along a beautiful, 600-meter-long sandy beach, with sights of diverse Mediterranean plants, cottages, villas and a 16th century Venetian Fortress with two islets off in the distance will be the start of this tour. Well climb a 16th -century fortress Castio, built by Venetians, which is located in the northern part of the beach. The upper part of Castio has a memorial plaque dedicated to the fallen soldiers of Montenegro during both World Wars. After the visit we'll continue with our journey.

2: The Monastery of Rezevici

On our way to Budva, well see medieval Orthodox monasteries that face the sea and well stop to visit one of them. We'll enjoy the peace these holy places have and admire vivid frescoes in Praskvica, Reevii or Rustovo Monastery. From Petrovac to Budva there is a 20minute ride with a great view of the Adriatic Sea.

3: Sveti Stefan

After visiting the monasteries, we finally arrive at Montenegros most photographed site and the symbol of our Adriatic coast, a charming island called Sveti Stefan. The island, dating back to 15th century, is a fortified village connected to the mainland by a narrow passage. Today it is a part of luxurious Aman resort, off limits to all except paying guests. Renewed stone buildings house 51 rooms, cottages and suits on the island in a perfect harmony with the centuries of history. We cant enter the island but we can admire it from the beachside or the nearby viewpoint. Not far from the island is arguably the most beautiful beach in Montengro, - Miloer or Kings beach, and it belongs to the Aman resort.

4: Budva

Leaving Sveti Stefan behind us, we arrive in Budva, the countrys most visited destination. Thanks to its captivating Old Town, vibrant bars, Blue Flag beaches and busy night clubs, this town hosts about 300 000 tourists every summer. Nearby beaches such as Beii, Prno, Mogren, Kamenovo, Ploe can be crowded with sun-seeking families and tourists. The town has been settled since the 5th century BC and together well see the Necropolis dating from this period and fortified Stari grad (Old Town) from medieval times. Braided streets and Venetian walls from 15th century surrounded by the clear sea is the main attraction of Budva. Due to the strong earthquake in 1979, the town has been completely rebuilt and now there are more shops, souvenirs, bars and restaurants than residencies.

5: Kotor

From Budva, we arrive in Boka bay, in Kotor. Some call it the southernmost fjord of Europe or the submerged canyon, but either way it is a must-see place in Montenegro. Would you like to see a contrast of the blue sea, green hills, and black-grey steep mountains as you arrive in UNESCO World Heritage Kotor? Boka Bay is one of the Mediterraneans most distinctive and striking landscapes. The fortified medieval city of Kotor is situated at the end of the Kotor Gulf within a triangular area bordered by the San Giovanni hill, the Adriatic Sea, the river kurda and the Gurdi Well. Inside the 4km staunch walls, the medieval plan has for the most part remained unchanged; museums, squares, piazzetas faced by churches and noble palaces is something youll definitely admire. Lose yourself in narrow winding streets as you look at centuries-old buildings enjoying your lunch break and free time.

6: Our Lady of the Rocks

From Kotor, we arrive in Perast. The most baroque town in Montenegro, situated at the foot of St.Elijahs Hill, hummed with melancholy memories of the days when it was rich and powerful , Perast is a little town that boasts 16 churches, 17 noble palaces, and two beautiful little islands. On 22 July 1452, Our Lady of the Rocks was artificially created around a rock where the icon of the Madonna with Child was found. The island was made by accumulation of stone pieces and of old sunken ships loaded with stones around that rock. We can go on a short boat ride to see a magnificent church with the same name that was erected in 1630. Inside, there are baroque paintings, hundreds of silver votive tablets and a small museum where youll find the most unusual exhibit. It is a must feel experience, highly recommended from every tourist that visited Montenegro. From Perast, in 1:30 minutes ride (or less, depends on the meeting point), we arrive in our meeting point.

2: Ostros

Near Ostros are the remains of the monastery complex Preista Krajinska, one of the oldest monuments in Montenegro. You will also see the Great Well, which according to tradition, Prince Vladimir built in this waterless area. A special charm on the Panoramic route has the passage through the chestnut forest. In hot summer days, a great atmosphere is the thick shade of a chestnut forest whose trees are over a thousand years old. Montenegro has a long tradition of wine growing, even from the Illyrian in antique times. Crmnica area around the Skadar lake National park considered to be the cradle of wine growing in Montenegro. As with many other things in our small land, this production was usually kept within the family. The wine was rarely for sale. The production was only for personal use or given as a present. A relatively dry climate, mountainous terrain, and the southern Mediterranean soil make perfect combination for the excellent wine.
If you are a wine lover, or you just want to try local wine & food, we offer private tours on your request. We can take you to various private wineries in Crmnica wine region where you can let yourself enjoy the beautiful scenery and the best wine in Montenegro. You can choose whether to visit three, four or even more wineries that we have in our offer. On you request we can organize lunch or snack in all wineries.
