Combine Zurich (a center of culture and commerce set on a beautiful lake, with intimate, cobbled streets), Lucerne (a beautiful, small city with cobbled streets,preserved medieval architecture, sits amid snowcapped mountains on Lake Lucerne), Interlaken (swiss town is located between the staggeringly gorgeous Lake Brienz and Lake Thun known as the adventure capital of Switzerland, with spectacular scenery and amazing views of the Alps), Bern (it is uniquely charming and very relaxed capital city), Zermatt (famous for its magnificent long ski runs, with terrain for all skill levels) and Chur (an Alpine city and the capital of the Graubünden canton in eastern Switzerland). Back to Zurich for one last night, before returning home. Travel between them by train. This is a flexible package. Select your number of nights in each city, desired hotel and activities.

Switzerland
Switzerland is a pristine country of lakes, mountains and forests. The best known of the continent's mountain ranges, the Alpine chain (Alps), runs through most of Switzerland and provides the majority of the country's magnificent natural sights. In the summer, towns such as Interlaken become green mountain centers for walking and mountaineering; and there are few places more naturally beautiful in the whole of Europe. Zurich, Geneva, Bern and Lucerne are models of Swiss efficiency. Less busy are the lakeside resorts, including fashionable Montreux on Lake Geneva.

Zurich
Zurich is a stunningly gorgeous city with a beautifully-preserved old town, endless greenery, wondrous snow-capped mountains, fresh air, and crystal clear lake views. The city's extraordinary museums, churches and galleries, confirm its position as Switzerland's spiritual, if not political, capital. There is also a hip, less conventional side to Zurich. Zuri West, once the industrial section, has become the 'it spot' over the last decade, with loft living, galleries, museums, experimental theater and clubs.

Lucerne
Located at the north end of Lake Lucerne within sight of Mount Pilatus and Rigi, Lucerne is a beautiful small city in the heartland of Switzerland. It features many narrow cobblestone streets, covered bridges, frescoed houses, and fountains. The city became a center of Swiss history and legend, and is the setting for the most memorable part of the legend of William Tell who shot an apple off of his son's head. Lucerne is also a great base from which to explore other famous Swiss sites.

Interlaken
A picture-perfect destination nestled between two emerald-colored lakes and snow capped mountains, Interlaken has long been admired as a dream getaway. The town is situated in the heart of Switzerland surrounded by the dramatic Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau Mountains. Many vacationers flock to this charming Swiss resort town because of its ample number of skiing and hiking areas. Winter or summer, you'll find plenty of things to do in and around the city.

Bern
Bern is one of the oldest cities in Europe with origins going back to the 12th century. The Old Town of Bern has one of the longest 'weatherproof' shopping malls in Europe under its almost 4 miles of covered arcades. The medieval atmosphere, with shops in the cellar vaults is unique and charming.

Located at 5,315 feet above sea level, Zermatt is a car-free village at the base of the magnificent Matterhorn. The town has one of the best networks of alpine cable cars, gondolas, and cog railways in Switzerland, which operate all year long.
