Trip Summary

  • Zurich

Zurich is a stunningly gorgeous city with a beautifully-preserved old town, endless greenery, wondrous snow-capped mountains, fresh air, and crystal clear lake views. The city's extraordinary museums, churches and galleries, confirm its position as Switzerland's spiritual, if not political, capital. There is also a hip, less conventional side to Zurich. Zuri West, once the industrial section, has become the 'it spot' over the last decade, with loft living, galleries, museums, experimental theater and clubs.

Explore Lake Zurich, Old Town (Altstadt), Museum of Art (Kunsthaus Zurich), Uetliberg Mountain, Zoo Zurich, Lindenhofplatz, Bahnhofstrasse, Grossmunster, Church of Our Lady (Fraumunster), Rietberg Museum and so much more!

  • Lucerne

Located at the north end of the Lake Lucerne within sight of Mount Pilatus and Rigi, Lucerne is a beautiful small city in the heartland of Switzerland. It abounds in narrow cobblestone streets, covered bridges, frescoed houses, and fountains. The city became a center of Swiss history and legend, and is the setting for the most memorable part of the legend of William Tell who shot an apple off of his son's head. Lucerne is also a great base from which to explore other famous Swiss sites.

Explore the Old Town, walk the medieval wooden covered bridges, hike Mt Rigi or Mt Pilatus, walk the Fortress walls, cruise on the lake by boat, visit the Lion Monument, visit Jesuit Church, the many Museums, check out the Glacier Garden, take some pictures at the Bourbaki Panorama, and so much more!

  • Interlaken

A picture-perfect destination nestled between two emerald-colored lakes and snow capped mountains; Interlaken has long been admired as a dream getaway for many years. The town is situated in the heart of Switzerland surrounded by the dramatic Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau Mountains. Many vacationers flock to this charming Swiss resort town because of its ample number of skiing and hiking areas. Winter or summer, you'll find plenty of things to do in and around the city of Interlaken. Stroll the Old Town, Harder Kulm, Höhematte Park, Schynige Platte, Unterseen, Lake Thun, Lake Brienz, Museum of Tourism, Niederhorn, St. Beatus Cave and Waterfalls, Interlaken Monastery and Castle, Unspunnen Castle, outdoor sports, and so much more!

  • Bern

Bern is one of the oldest cities in Europe with origins going back to the 12th century. It is on the UNESCO list of World Cultural Heritage and boasts many museums, theatres, landmarks, cafes, restaurants and shops - not to mention the weekly market (and the lovely Christmas market) - all of which can be easily reached on foot. The Old Town of Bern has one of the longest "weatherproof" shopping malls in Europe under its almost 4 mile of covered arcades. The medieval atmosphere, with shops in the cellar vaults is unique and charming. Explore the Old Town (Altstadt), The Paul Klee Museum, Zytglogge (Clock Tower), Bern Cathedral, Gurten Mountain, Bern Historical Museum, Bundeshaus (Swiss Federal Building), BärenPark, Museum of Fine Arts, The Rose Garden, Einstein Museum, and so much more!

  • Zermatt

Located 5,315 ft. above sea level, Zermatt is a car-free village at the base of the magnificent mountain Matterhorn. It is world-renowned resort for skiing and mountaineering. The town has one of the best networks of alpine cable cars, gondolas, and cog railways in Switzerland operating all year long. Visit The Matterhorn, Klein Matterhorn (Little Matterhorn), Breithorn, Gornergrat, Rothorn, Zermatt Village, Zermatlantis Matterhorn Museum, Mountaineers' Cemetery, Gorner Gorge, Senegal, Village of Findeln, Schwarzsee, Spas and so much more!

  • Chur

Dating back from 3000 BC, Chur is the oldest town in Switzerland. The old town is located in the east side of the town and has many interesting places to visit. One of the main sights is the cathedral church of St Luzius which contains many curious medieval antiquities and the tomb of the great Grisons political leader Jenatsch. Don`t miss the Raetian Museum, which contains a great collection of objects relating to Raetia. The art gallery, and the natural museum, all well worth the time. Visit the iconic Martinskirche, Learn about the history at Ratisches Museum, Admire the art at Bundner Kunstmuseum, Take a ride on the Bernina Express or the Glacier Express, Relax at the Quaderwiese, Enjoy all the outdoor winter sports at your fingertips, Go Mountain Biking or Hiking, and so much more!
