EVIAN-LES-BAINS - GETTING AROUND

Getting in

Evian is accessible via car, ferry from Lausanne, Switzerland, or through SNCF trains from Geneva. TGV trains from Paris run on the weekends.

By Train: From the French Alps, the gateway city of Annecy via Annemasse if the best way to arrive by train. A one-way fare from Annecy is about €18. (there are other trains from different parts of France and Switzerland as well, but they require transfers to the railway junction of Bellegarde.)

Ferry: Ferries (CGN) leave Geneva from quai du Mont-Blanc at the foot of the rue des Alpes, or from Le Jardin Anglais. From May 28 to September 21, one ferry a day departs Geneva at 9 am, arriving in Évian at 11:45 am. The return trip leaves Évian at 5:50 pm daily and reaches Geneva at8:45 pm.
