This stunning attraction is located 3.5 miles from La Fortuna town; at the base of the dormant Chato volcano amidst a thriving rain forest, the location for this waterfall couldn't get any better. The waterfall is accessible by foot or horseback. The hike to the waterfall takes about 20 minutes and about an hour to arrive by horse. Both ways lead through lush tropical forest, offering up chances to spot toucans, monkeys, and other tropical creatures. |
