Make your way to the tour center at Bermuda's Royal Naval Dockyard. Meet your guide and get a short orientation, safety lesson and rundown of all the Segway's controls. Don your helmet, hop on and try a few laps on a practice course. Once you're fully comfortable, you and your group are ready to hit the road.

Glide through the Royal Naval Dockyard, listening to your guide's commentary on wireless headsets. WHAT TO EXPECT

Find your way to your boat's departure point in Bermuda's Royal Naval Dockyard.

Step aboard as your friendly captain and crew welcome you; find a comfortable spot to settle in one of the viewing areas around the boat's glass bottom. As you motor out of the dockyard, you'll begin to see the area's underwater world come to life.

Cruise over to the Sea Gardens, an unspoiled stretch of marine habitat surrounded by miles of the world's northernmost coral reef. Listen to your captain's information and little-known facts about Bermuda's natural environment, history, and culture, as well as information on the marine life you'll be viewing. Make a stop near the HMS Vixen, whose unbelievable backstory will surely elicit a few laughs from the crowd. Some History: Tobacco Bay played an important role in the American war for independence through the infamous Gunpowder Plot of 1775. On the night of August 15th, 1775 a group of Bermudians, sympathetic to the American cause led by Colonel Henry Tucker, stole 100 barrels of gunpowder from the British Powder Magazine. The barrels were rolled down a hill to Tobacco Bay, Bermudian whaling vessels transported the cargo onto two American schooners waiting nearby, the Lady Catherine and the Packet.

Make your way to the cruise departure point, Bermuda's Royal Naval Dockyard, at your selected cruise time. When booking, select a start time to suit you.

Once you climb aboard, head for the shipwreck of the 'Vixen' while listening to commentary about the island's history and culture. Through the boat's glass bottom, get views of the reef and the shipwreck itself, then cruise over to the nearby sea grass beds, where transient turtles are known to hang out.
